Fall clean-up and dumpster news!

September 13, 2024

October will begin a push for a town-wide cleanup! We will be trimming trees and bushes on right of ways as well as doing an overall cleanup on all public properties. We encourage all citizens to pitch in by removing all debris and clutter from their property as well. Enhancing the looks of our town not only shows pride in the Town of Bentonia but also reduces drainage issues, mosquitos and other pest problems. Please remember that the green dumpsters are for household garbage only and the large red dumpster is for debris, appliances, mattresses, etc. The current ordinance on dumpsters can be found under forms and reports/ordinances/article 6: Public discard of refuse.
